// Deterministic brand evaluation engine
Every score below comes from an explainable algorithm — pronunciation, typing confusion, dictionary clash, rhythm, visual balance. No AI required for any of it. AI is available separately, off by default, for opinions only.
BrandLab doesn't bundle a real trademark database (that data is licensed and jurisdiction-specific). Paste your own list here (one name per line) and every "Full report" will also fuzzy-match against it. This list stays in this browser tab's memory only — it's cleared on refresh, never uploaded anywhere.
Every score on this page is 100% deterministic and never touches AI. This panel adds two optional AI features on top of that: generating name candidates from a business description, and ranking your shortlist — both clearly separate from the scores above, which stay AI-free either way.
Session only, nothing saved: paste your own API key below to use this for the current browser tab only. It's held in memory for this session, sent directly from your browser straight to the provider's API, never written to storage or sent anywhere else — and it's wiped the moment you turn this toggle off or close/refresh the tab.
Premium mode: every name must clear a strict multi-gate pipeline (single obvious spelling, no dictionary/brand/city/name clash, whitelisted pronounceable clusters only, visual balance, composite score floor). Fewer results, each one investment-grade.
Asks the AI in batches of 25 raw candidates at a time and keeps calling — up to a safety cap — until enough survive the same gates every other name here has to pass. Most raw AI suggestions get rejected, same as the deterministic engine, so hitting a bigger target means more calls, not just one bigger request. Each call is billed on your own key and subject to your provider's rate limit; if it stalls, whatever already passed stays in the grid.
